Stack
Stack is a cooperative turn-based game for 2 players.
The objective is to build a tower of pieces to reach ever so high heights. Each succesfully placed piece awards 1 point.
To place pieces the active player can move it horizontally and rotate them in place to drop them as they see fit. This is important as the tower can fall if the structure becomes unstable so thinking about how to drop the piece is essential.
The instance I worked on is called Stack Dinosaurs and is part of the multiplayer collection called Play Together.
The educational aspect of this game is vocabulary of different themes.
Stack Dinosaurs
Stack Dinosaurs was the fifth game I worked on in Lingokids.
In this Stack game I worked on implementing assets, programming logic changes when it was need and updating documentation.
This game required some care when decorating the background to avoid visibility issues.
Additionally, I made a slight code adjustment requested by the Education department to allow different ways of displaying the names of pieces.
I also, conducted user tests with 3-7 year old kids to check any potential issues and ensure the proper performance and educational outcomes of the game.
